Fleurieu & Hills (SA) Dairy Careers Project - link to website

The Dairy Careers project funded through DairySA and the Fleurieu Regional Development Board, aims to assist in meeting the ongoing labour requirements of dairy businesses in the Hills and Fleurieu region. It does this by better informing young people about the nature of dairying, and the opportunities and career pathways that exist. This work aims to lift young people’s expectations of dairying careers, and so increase the availability of interested, motivated people interested in working in the industry.

Dairy Australia provides information on exciting career options for young people keen to enter the industry, or for people already in it.

The Dairy Careers page provides case studies and a range of careers in the dairy industry with useful contacts.

Dairy Food Processing Courses

A range of food processing courses are held through the University of Melbourne.

Regency Campus of TafeSA has also recently delivered some pilot cheese making courses. For further information contact TafeSA Regency Campus.
