Project Activities and Achievements:
- Establish and Support an Alliance with Dairy CRC
Paul Donnelly, CEO Dairy CRC
As part of looking to identify new high value milk based dairy products in South Australia, the CRC for Innovative Dairy Products is working with a group of SA biotech companies to discuss potential opportunities.
The main activity supported by the ADP program is development of a project involving Dairy CRC technology focussed on novel immune milk-based products, partnering with, and developing benefits through, a South Australian SME. The aim of the project is to develop a research plan tailoring Dairy CRC technology to deliver benefits to South Australian based industry.
The benefits will be a well-designed project, prepared with the involvement of all relevant partners and with the full commitment of all parties to deliver commercial benefits.
The results of the project will provide two kinds of benefits
- the design of a subsequent research project which will greatly improve the efficiency of the process for generating immune milk
- the project will achieve the full understanding and commitment of all stakeholders.
